Inter-house sports activities

Wisdom Child's Inter-house sports activities are an integral part of our school's annual calendar as they provide an opportunity for students to engage in healthy competition, develop teamwork and leadership skills, and promote physical fitness and well-being.



Our school's inter-house sports activities usually begin with an opening ceremony, which involves a parade of the different houses - Red, Green, Blue, White and Yellow - with each house showcasing their team spirit and unity through various displays such as music, dance, and chants.
The sports activities that follow usually include a range of track and field events such as sprints, relays, long jump, high jump, shot put, and discus. These events are open to students from all grades, and they are usually divided into categories based on age and gender.
During the inter-house sports activities, the students compete with enthusiasm and determination, and the atmosphere is usually filled with excitement and cheers from the different house supporters. The sports activities provide an opportunity for students to showcase their athletic abilities, and the winners of each event are usually awarded medals or certificates.

Apart from the competitive aspect, Wisdom Child's inter-house sports activities also provide an opportunity for students to learn important life skills such as teamwork, sportsmanship, and resilience. The students work together with their housemates and support each other, and they learn to accept defeat gracefully and celebrate success with humility.

In addition to the sports events, there are usually other activities such as music performances, dance displays, and refreshment stalls that add to the festive atmosphere of the day.
